Privacy Policy

Who we are

CofiApps (“we,” “our,” “us”) makes Daykept (daily journal) and Cashvelope (envelope budgeting). Both apps are built to run offline with no account required. We are a small independent developer based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

App data (Daykept & Cashvelope)

All journal entries, budget categories, and transaction records are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. We do not transmit this data to our servers. We cannot read your journal or your budget.

Cashvelope offers an optional backup & sync feature. If you choose to enable it, your data is encrypted before being sent and stored. Enabling sync is always opt-in — the app works fully without it.

Website analytics

This website (cofiapps.com) uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site. Google Analytics collects anonymized data such as page views, session duration, device type, and referral source. It does not collect personally identifiable information.

Analytics only runs in production. If you prefer not to be tracked, you can use a browser extension like uBlock Origin or enable Do Not Track in your browser settings.

Contact form

When you send a message via our contact page, we collect:

• Your email address (required)
• Your name (optional)
• The message you write

We use this information only to reply to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list. The contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam.

We do not sell your data

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. The only third-party services we use are Google Analytics (website) and Google reCAPTCHA (contact form) — both governed by Google’s own privacy policies.

Children’s privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through our contact form, please email us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page if our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect any revision. We will not make material changes without posting them here.
